I recently had a lovely stay at the Lanterns Hotel in Tarbert, and I can't recommend it enough for anyone looking for a cozy base in traditional Irish style. the rooms were beautifully appointed, complete with an electric kettle and a charming seating area, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the stunning nearby coast. the friendly staff really stole the show; from the night manager who welcomed us with warmth and a smile, to the team at breakfast who served a delightful continental spread that set us up for the day ahead. the on-site restaurant also offered a great selection of hearty meals, ideal after a busy day. What I truly appreciated was the free Wi-Fi, which allowed me to stay connected while sharing some of my landscape photography adventures online. If you're near Kerry Airport or planning a trip to Kilkee, the Lanterns Hotel is definitely worth a stop to experience that genuine Irish hospitality!
